Personal Statement
My favorite quote is, "How you do anything is how you do everything" and that is how I live my life on and off the court. I look forward to connecting so we can learn more about each other.
I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. I have always aspired to play at the collegiate level which is why I joined an AAU team at age 9. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I can't wait to get started.
I have a passion for defense, hustle and I have a high basketball IQ. Being a leader is a focus as I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. As a three sport athlete I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, character, sacrifice, and leadership.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.0 GPA and proudly make the honor roll and am part of National Honor Society. I also volunteer at local youth basketball camps and am a member of FCA, Student Council, Peer PE, National Youth Leadership Council and IGHSAU Student Advisory Committee.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. My goal is to be a great teammate and make a difference in everything that I do.
