One word I would use to describe myself is hardworking. This is a trait I have had within myself for all my life, it has built me into the person and basketball player I am today. I grew up playing a lot of AAU basketball and my coaches would always talk about being good or great. A good player won’t push themselves very hard, but a great player finds it within themselves to work hard. The great player’s mind is set on one thing, reaching their goal. I believe I am on the right path to becoming a great player. Another reason why I would be a good candidate for your team, is that I am a good leader. I believe that a team is only as strong as its weakest member. I won't only push myself to become the best version of myself but I will also push my teammates. I've learned how to become a better leader by participating in many things at my High School, some of these include: being elected Class President, serving on Student Council; competing in Speech, Mock Trial, Cross Country, Spring Track; participating in Strength and Conditioning, Show Choir, Jazz Band, and volunteering with the Interact Club. Outside of school, I am active with my church youth group and am president of my 4-H Club. I am different from other recruits because I not only will I work hard everyday on the court, but I will also work hard in the classroom and my community. Playing college basketball is a dream of mine, but I also have a dream of becoming a doctor. I am a multi sport athlete, participating in sports all year around, so I know it's good to condition myself as a basketball player and as a student. So if you're looking to recruit a hardworking Student-Athlete who will bring leadership, hustle, and hard work to your team, you've come to the right girl!
