Personal Statement
My name is Rylie Akins, I will graduate in the spring of 2023. I attend West Fork High School in Sheffield, Iowa and I'm a 5' 6" point guard and shooting guard. I began playing basketball in fourth grade on a traveling team. That is where I first found my passion for the game. I am quick with great ball control, and exceptional vision of the court. I have a strong work ethic and am dedicated to improving all aspects of my game. As in athletics, I take pride in academics also. I currently hold a 3.7 GPA. I look forward to challenging myself on and off the court, by helping my team be successful and obtaining a degree. I look forward to hard work and striving for perfection together, as a team. Securing my future while playing the game I love would be an extraordinary experience. Thank you.
