Personal Statement

My name is Katherine Weiss and I am in the class of 2024. I am involved in many other activities besides basketball such as, tennis, 4-H, band, jazz band, and many more. I currently am a 4.0 student at Sacred Heart Jr. Sr. High School in Salina, Kansas. My freshman year, I won second place at state for tennis in doubles, and we won the state title as a team. I have to give credit to playing tennis because it has helped me with my agility and endurance for basketball. My goals after high school is to go to college and pursue my dreams of becoming a forensic pathologist or a trauma surgeon. I am a very hardworking student-athlete and I give my all in whatever I do. I also have a great work ethic. If I fail, I will always look for a way to fix it, no matter how hard it is. My dream is to play basketball at the collegiate level and also pursue my academic dreams.

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
