Mackenzie Johnson '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5' 11" post/power forward from Overland Park, KS.  As of Fall 2011, I will be a Senior at Blue Valley High School.   ï»¿ï»¿I have played competitive basketball for 6 years and competitive volleyball for 5 years.  My club basketball experience has been with Hoop Service the last three years. In previous years, I also played  for the Kansas Belles and Missouri Valley Eclipse. I played Varsity basketball since my sophomore year.  I also have played competitive Volleyball for 5 years, and have played at a varsity level the last two years.  My club experience has been with Team KC, KC Explosion, and the Mizuno Blazers.  

I am a strong and committed student, and have made honor roll every semester in High School. I am a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society.  My current GPA is 3.8 (non- weighted) and 4.12 (weighted).

I am interested in a small to medium size institution that provides an opportunity to pursue my interests in pre-dentistry, pre-vet, or biological sciences.  I would like provide a postive and immediate impact to a basketball program, and contribute my skills both on and off the court.
