Personal Statement
My name is Aubrey Daulton. I'm in the graduating class of 2023. I currently attend Pulaski County High School located in Somerset, Ky. I'm a 5'9 player that can play anywhere from the 1 position to the 4 position. I began my basketball journey at the age of 6 when I started playing in an Upward Bound league. I moved on to the school league that fall. From this point on is where I fell in love with the game. Since then I have participated in school basketball every year, and then continued my basketball career during AAU. I believe that in order to get what you want, then you must put the work in to do so. I spend a lot of my time in the gym, working on multiple things including post moves, shooting, and ball handling. I take a lot of pride in my defense as I have been doing a lot to improve my strength and speed in order to be successful. Not only do I put a lot of time in on the court but also in the classroom. This past year I maintained a 3.9 GPA while taking Honors, AP, and Dual Credit classes as well as being on the honor roll for the semester. I believe an education is also something that you must work for in order to achieve what you want. Basketball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I'm hoping that as I continue my AAU career that it will allow me to grow into a discplined, and much better player so that I am able to become apart of a team that will support and embrace the same energy that I have. I'm looking forward to what's in store for my future and my career at the college level. Thank you!
