Mia Pediford '20 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations in life are clear, of course, its a goal to make it to the WNBA and if not overseas. What makes me different, however, is far from ordinary.  Basketball was always my fallback from everything, no matter what i was going through, the court was always there for me. To most people, basketball would be considered a hobby. To me it’s a lifestyle. It becomes more then just a simple game, it becomes a part of me. When i had nothing but myself, i could always depend on basketball. Growing up, I didn’t really have a choice but to depend on myself for almost everything, so of course it helped to have something to always depend on for happiness. So you ask me what makes me different from others, in conclusion my background is not only what makes me different but what also makes me a primetime player.
