I started playing basketball in the 5th grade and have always been a hard worker on and off the court. I am a self-motivator as I try to get better everyday. I am respectful to my teachers, family, teammates and coaches. I listen to my coaches because I know they want me to be the best player that I can be. In college, I plan to major in psychology and criminology as I want to pursue a career in forensic psychology .
When I play basketball, I am fully locked-in and give my all whether in practice or a game. I play hard on both sides of the court and if I make a mistake, I try to make it up on the next possession. I believe I am a good teammate as I lead by example and encourage my teammates. I am able to adapt to different styles of basketball to help my team .
I also take my academics very seriously. I never slack off in classes and always strive to do my best. I have a strong work ethic in school and always work to have good relationships with my teachers. I try to keep a good balance between my academic and basketball life. I also have good time management skills and strive to always take advantage of any opportunities to help me grow as a person.
