2012 Highlights Personal Statement
I want to play at the highest level of competition possible, and I'm willing to put in that extra effort just to get there. Once I set my mind to something, I am very stubborn in achieving that goal because of my persistence, and I think it is this that makes me so successful. My style of basketball is up-tempo, because I love the transition, on both offense and defense. It is because of this, and my ability to make others better by leading them on the floor, that I was the only one to earn a starting position on varsity my freshman year, and lead Massachusetts in points per game, sophomore and senior year. Academically speaking, I am interested in Medicine Science/Physical Therapy-orietated majors. And, having lived abroad, I am open to a variety of cultures and geographies.
