I am a Junior at Walter Johnson High School. I have been playing basketball since I could walk, and immediately fell in love with the game. I began playing AAU basketball at a young age, and worked with private trainers and went to camps and clinics in the off season to develop my skills. I made the Varsity team at my school my freshman year, and immediately made an impact, allowing me to earn a starting spot my Sophomore year. Now, as a Junior captain, I lead the team in scoring and in assists. While basketball has been one of my largest commitments thus far, school has always come first. My hard work and dedication on the court translates to the classroom, where I thrive. I am in the APEX Honors Program at my school, and began taking AP courses my freshman year. By the end of my Junior year I will have taken 6 AP's, and plan to take another 5 my Senior year. In college, I will continue to challenge myself as much as possible in the classroom, and am in the search of a school that will be a fitting balance of high academics and basketball.
