Mackenzie Baker '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball for 9 years this includes 3 years on Varsity. I got interested in this sport at a young age and the gym has always been a place I feel comfortable. Here I learn new skills and ways to connect with other players as well as help guide and encourage them to be the best version of the player they want to be. Being awarded First Team All- Conference as a Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior I have also been given a built in leadership role. I have been told that people look to me for advice and help with the game from this, I have earned the respect from not only my coaches and teammates but from opposing teams and coaches who notice this. Grades have been important in our household starting at a young age and will continue throughout my collage years.  I make school a priority and have learned how to balance work, school and sports.
