Personal Statement
When it comes to deciding where I want to go for school, my mind is pretty open. My number one priority is making sure that even if I wasn't playing basketball, I would still want to go there. I want to know that I'm setting myself up for a successful future, even after I'm done playing. Ideally I want to study to become an x-ray technician, but I'm open to changing that goal as i see fit. My goals regarding basketball are simple, every time I leave the floor I want to leave knowing I gave everything i had, 100% effort all of the time. My off season efforts are to ensure that me as an individual can help make any team I'm on very hard to beat. My character as a teammate is what I believe sets me apart, if you have a team full of 10 great athletes but not a single one is a good teammate, you are bound for failure. To me being a good teammate means a lot of different things, picking them up after a mistake, getting to know them as a person and not just a player, and so much more. All in all, basketball is a family sport, your teammates and coaches become some of your closest friends and that's what I truly love about the sport.
