I am a strong, scrappy guard who loves competition. I grew up in a household with five siblings where I competed with my siblings daily. I followed in my brother's footsteps by starting my basketball career at the age of six.
I would describe my game as fast and entertaining. I love to push the ball in transition to get quick buckets and to get my teammates involved. I can get in the paint and finish through contact but I can also shoot from deep.
I also followed my brother's footsteps by playing tackle football from age six to fifteen. This has helped me to enjoy being physical on the basketball court, especially when diving for loose balls or getting tough rebounds.
Another place I love to compete is in the classroom. Maintaining good grades is a must for me because I know how important education is to my future. I would love to study Early Childhood Education or Childhood Development in hopes of owning a daycare one day.
I would love to continue my basketball career in college to show my younger self who had big dreams, that anything is possible if you work for it. Basketball is a way for me to be competitive and the court is my comfort place, I want basketball to be a part of my life for as long as I'm alive!
