I love the game. I am 5'4 and around 110 pounds. I work out and play basketball year round. I am fast, but I am going to work on my speed and conditioning more so that I can keep up with anyone. I made the varsity team as a freshman and I played JV my 7th and 8th grade years. I played AAU basketball for two years, until our team folded. I am working hard to get a team together up north so I can get back into it. I loved the competetion of AAU and playing different teams, some I never even heard of! I am a very hard worker and I will do anything my coaches ask. I hope to eventually be a team captain. I am a very good leader. I really want to play at a school with a competetive basketball program, that will also help me reach a career as either a teacher, like both my parents, or in mass communications or sports journalism, or law. I am a freshman in high school and I still am not 100% sure on what I want to do after my basketball days are over (besides my dream of the WNBA). I am a leader. This year, as a freshman, I am pretty much a bench warmer, but I am dedicated. I know eventually I will see minutes..maybe not til next year, it all depends on my coach. I want to be a player to make a difference. Whether its on or off the court. I am willing to work with players younger than me to build the program. I dream of being a college starter, but I am also aware that you can only start 5 players and the best 5 will start, which may or may not be me. I will work to be the player my coaches want me to be. Role player, starter, bench warmer, Anything. I will do whatever it takes to say "I played college ball!" Please help me reach my dream!
