As a student athlete, my academic goals are to maintain my g.p.a, which is a 4.05 currently. I want to graduate at the top of my class, and receive academic and athletic scholarships. My collegiate goals are to major in aerospace engineering, and get my bachelor's degree. I take much pride in my academics, and I am aware that they can take me very far. I think that my hard work and focus in the classroom transfers over into my hard work and focus in the gym, and that is what makes me different from many other recruits. I am always looking to get better, whether it is in the class, or in the gym, and to help others get better and push them.
I always make sure to try to improve my teammates' moods if they are having a bad day or game, or whether they were just disciplined by the coach. I am always trying to set an example for how others should act, whether those are teammates younger or older than me. I think this is why I was chosen to be a captain of my team as a freshman. Another thing that makes me a good candidate for any team that I join is that I always try to be aware of my role. Whether I am point guard or shooting guard, I do what it takes to help my team win. If that requires being less aggressive, or doing things I am unaccustomed to, I will willingly do it.
I think that I am a model student/athlete, and can add a lot to any team that I join.
