One thing that I’ve learned from not just being a student athlete, but in general is that having good character is very important. Although someone may be the best athlete on the team, in the school, in the state, in the nation, etc. but if they do not have good character or class then not a single coach will want them on their team. My softball coach preached and preached to us girls on the team how important it was to have good character and represent our school with class.
