Personal Statement
Shooting 1000 points over 4 years was no easy task, but it solidified that I have the talent needed to be a college basketball player. Growing up, the thought of playing college ball scared me. I was worried that I couldn't do it even though people around me constantly commented on my skills. Even though I questioned my ability, I never gave up being the best, and I made sure I stayed coachable, which is why I’ve received several awards including being chosen for the KMZU’s Basketball Dream Team. When it comes to academics, I work just as hard. My academics have always been important, and as I start my path toward radiology technician, the drive to be the best has only intensified. Win or lose, I give 100%.
