Emma Madsen '17 Recruiting Profile

     The opportunity to start as an eighth grader in the Montana Christian Athletic Association High School Basketball Championship game allowed me to challenge myself physically and mentally. Even though I was the youngest member of my team, my level of commitment, hard work and team first mentality earned me the respect and admiration of my older teammates.  My personal faith in God, tenacity on the court, compassion towards others and gregarious personality, are what set me apart.  My dedication to training on and off the court has prepared me to play at a highly competitive level and gives me the confidence to make good decisions under pressure.
     I realize that my education provides a foundation for me to become a successful and contributing member of society. My goal is to attend a school where I can continue competing on the basketball court, and be challenged academically.  Although I haven't yet chosen my exact field of study, I love to read, enjoy my science classes and feel confident that whatever I eventually choose to pursue, it will be with the same determination and enthusiasm I have on the basketball court. I would be honored to bring these winning qualities to your basketball program.
