Basketball has always been a passion for me since the time I began playing in first grade. I was blessed to have my dad as a coach until I was in high school, and our bonding added to my love of the game. I have been able to learn the game by playing, by watching all different levels of basketball (high school, college and NBA) with my family, and now by assisting with coaching my little sister and brother's teams. My goal is to play college basketball for a team, and a school that will help me to continue to develop into the player and person I hope to be. I also hope to possibly coach and teach as a career someday.
I love the feel of a team that works for a common goal, and have had the opportunity to be a team captain in three different varsity sports. Basketball brings out my strengths as a person, a leader, and an athlete. I am a very coachable player who will always give my best effort. I have enjoyed transitioning to the position of a combo guard, and have worked very hard to develop my ball handling skills, shooting mechanics, and my knowledge of the game. I feel that my greatest strengths are my speed, agility, defense, leadership/encouragement of the team, and my work ethic. I continue to work to improve both my physical and mental game everyday!
