My name is Skye Landaz. I am in the graduating class of 2021. I go to Faith Lutheran High School, in Las Vegas, NV. I am a 5'6 combo guard and started playing basketball in 3rd grade at the local YMCA, moving to a AAU team in the 6th grade. Basketball has been my passion ever since a little girl. I am comfortable handing the ball in either the point guard or shooting guard role while finding my open teammates and have achieved more success this past year shooting the 3-point shot. My speed, strength, and aggressiveness helps me be a very successful defender (my High School coaches awarded me the Defensive Player of the Year). I have a fun personality but my intensity comes out on the court! I have also lettered the past four seasons on the Varsity Fastpitch Softball team as a pitcher. I am dedicated in not only becoming a successful athlete, but a student as well. This semester I received an overall 2.98 gpa. I love being part of a team and working toward a common goal together. I hope this AAU season creates growth for me as an athlete and a person. I sincerely love the game of basketball. Creating a future through the game I love would be an unbelievable experience. I look forward to working hard and becoming the best player I can be. I hope that is only the start of what’s to come in my future.
