My name is Alexandria Elizabeth Mouzon-Reynolds but you can call me Allie. I am a 5'3" senior from Belmont, NH. I have played basketball since I was 7 years old and it is my absolute favorite sport. I am dedicated and determined when it comes to basketball. I have played for three AAU teams in NH as well as on my Middle and High school teams (varsity). I was captain on my Concord Knights team for 3 years.
As a minority child of a disabled, single parent, who is battling stage IV cancer and lupus, I have had to endure and overcome many obstacles and challenges. Together, my mom and I have survived and with God's help I am determined to go to college and to play basketball. Because of my mom's illness I want to go to a college in the New England area. I am a competive athlete and I am open to any opportunity in any division. The thing is I WANT TO PLAY.
On the court I am fast and I can read players well. I can see the floor from many viewpoints which has been instrumental in my ability to steal, rebound and play strong defense. I have played all positions, I am good at the free throw line and I am not afraid to drive the ball.
As a player and student I am always willing to grow. I pick up on strategy and game play changes quickly and accurately. My personality has always been to help and assist others, to be an encourager and a strong team player because I believe it takes a team to be a winner and I like helping others accomplish their goals in the game.
Though my first love is basketball I want to major in Art (Interior Design). Because my mom is totally disabled we have financial hardship and I need scholarships and grants in order to go to college. I prefer a larger college setting but I am open to going to a smaller college especially if I can play division basketball. IF I WAS ON YOUR TEAM YOU WOULD NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
