Personal Statement
My name is Nytasia Braxton from Camden NJ. I am writing to you because of my interest in furthering my education and playing basketball. I’m a prospective student athlete in the 10th grade currently attending Dr. Brimm Medical Arts High School. I play for Woodrow Wilson High School mainly as a combo guard and I’m also in track and field competing in hurdles, long jump, 100, 200, and 400 meter events. I also play for the Philly Freedom Stars in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) in numerous positions due to our lack of big players on the team. On the court I consider myself as a hard and all out player defensively. I am currently 5’5 tall and weigh 109 pounds.
My goal for college is to major in physical therapy with a minor in criminal law. I work with my athletic trainer at Wilson with taping players trying to learn new things about what i want to be in the future. As an honor roll student I work hard and get my work done . My grade point average is 3.6. In my free time I go the gym to play basketball, hang out with some friends ,or just take a break at home. Thank you very much for your time.
