Hi my name is Naomi Smith. I am currently a junior at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico. My major that I have been studying is biology, I'm going for my bachelors and then hoping to get into a radiology program. I've earned my associates of science at a two year school at Hesston, Kansas, where I also played basketball for two years as well. To me this sport has taught me a lot, it showed me my weaknesses and my strengths on and off the court. I believe my strengths during the game was boxing out, no matter how tall the other player is, doing quick post moves, helping out on defense, going after the ball, encouraging the other players, cheering them on. But overall, basketball has taught me how to control my attitude on the court, how to read the offense and defenses, and also taught me to communicate more with my teammates. It has also taught me that the girls and coaches on the team are my family!
