Personal Statement
For as long as I can remember, sports have been a part of my life. With my parents both coaching at the varsity level, I knew I was destined to be an athlete. I was able to experience both failure and success from a very young age. As I watched other teams, I knew I would have to be an unselfish player if I wanted to win. This has helped me to develop the skills I need to be successful both in the classroom and on the court. I have learned to over come objectives and work hard for anything I want.
As a five sport athlete, I have been very blessed to have the success I‘ve had in each. My team is most important and they are the reason why I strive to be better everyday. Through our losses, trials and tribulations, I have learned to be a leader, to be focused, dedicated, and supportive. I know what it takes to make sacrifices and that is why my character and work ethic speak for themselves. I hope to attend a program where I can grow as a student and athlete. I am confident that I have what it takes to make an impact on your team.
