Personal Statement

My goals is to further my education and to achieve honors in my field of study, my Long term goal is to become a Physician. I am a hard worker and I am willing to adapt to the transition of becoming a productive and successful adult. My goals is to play college basketball and to further my Education. I am a team player and leader. I will devote myself and becoming the best in everything. As a teammate I am more focused on making my team play for the name in front of the jersey not the back. Now, what makes me different from all the other athletes is I'm my own person. I play because I love the game and I want to win winning to me is not always determined on the game score but on how much I gave my self in that game, If I gave my all than that is a win to me as well, if I didn't than I analyze what I need to work on, I don't want to settle for less than the best. Wins don't come by accident but wins also don't come from people with the wrong mind set. Before I enter the gym on a game day I make sure to walk in with my own positive confidence, determination, focus and love for the game. I'm not prideful because the moment I see someone who thinks their better I show them on the court what competitive basketball means and I don't go down without a fight .I love to score but when I see an open teammate I give them the ball, Assist are just as beautiful and gets me excited when I see my teammate finish a play I have set up for them. I also acknowledge them when they help me score or give me an assist. If I can walk without a limp after practice I ask my dad to take me to the court because that shows me I'm not tired. If I make a mistake I take responsibility and make sure once I get on the court I fix my mistakes. If my team wins or loses I make sure the next day to be on that court practicing and watching film. Also, what makes me different from all the others is my faith. God has blessed me with a talent of being a Point Guard since I was five years old playing in Co-ed teams and moving on to the ladies leagues. I know each day I wake up and play basketball, make music or pursue my medical pathway its to thank him for giving me these great gifts and people to team up with and share my gifts love and heart wit. Thank you for your time!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
