Personal Statement

I believe I’m a good candidate for your team because I think I’m a great team player. My intensity is much more needed on the court than outside of a gym. It was my dream to play basketball when I was younger and when I got to High School it was a dream come true. It pushed me to be better in class and on the court. Whenever the marking period was almost done I’d always make sure that I had everything in on time for my teachers because I knew that if I didn’t do my best to average at least an 80% it would cost me a quarter or two in a game, sometimes even the whole game if my coach found out I was failing a class. That’s how hard my coach is on us because she knows we can do better and that’s exactly what I’m doing. Also, I think it would be a great opportunity to experience what it’s like to play college basketball.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
