Kristen Kelly '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I have been playing basketball since I was 7 years old. Ever since then, I have fallen in love with the sport. I am a determined player who will do anything to help my team win. I have always had a passion for basketball and my ultimate goal is to play in college. My rebounding, post moves and my aggressive play are my strengths. I work tirelessly to improve my game during practice and realized a long time ago that my opponents are also working hard. I have a personal trainer who works with me about 4 days a week and I have multiple AAU tournaments and practices. I encourage my teammates to accompany me during my workouts with my trainer. Occasionally, I also shoot in the mornings at 6 am with my high school coach one on one. I recently was named All League Player and All Conference Player. This past season my Teammates and I won the Long Island High School Championship where I lead my team with 14 points and 12 rebounds. My education is equally as important to me. I challenge myself in the classroom as well as on the court and have enjoyed success there as well. I am presently taking 3 AP classes and Honors Italian. I bring leadership and show commitment to everything I do. I am currently volunteering at a physical therapy office as well as a local hospital. The recent video I added to my profile was taken this past August in Pennsylvania. It was a college showcase I attended. Please excuse the uniform as this was not my team or any of my teammates.
