Hello Coaches,
I hope this finds you healthy and safe during our country's crisis. I added my SAT score of 1230 to my profile today. This score was from the test taken at my high school earlier this month. I did not prep for this test as I was still in my basketball season. I am prepping now for the test in May that was just canceled so I rescheduled for June hoping to be able to take the test then. I'll update my test scores after that test if the College Board keeps that date. Thank you.
Update 5/4/19
My High School Varsity team went the furthest its ever gone this year and as co-Captain as a Sophomore, I was so proud of the team! We made it to the Elite 8 in the NYC PSAL and I led my team in points and assists in the playoffs. This off season I will be practicing and playing with two teams: a local Brooklyn team with some of my high school teammates (MIKA) as well as an all-Asian team (ROCKITS), and continue to train with my trainer. In July I will be taking a writing class and a college Calculus class so won't be competing then. Trying to balance it all! I continually update my highlights so you can see me play. Thanks for viewing my profile. -Izzy '21
Update 1/6/18: My Freshman year has started strong! I am the starting Point Guard for my Varsity team, playing with four Seniors. We have awesome team chemistry and are 9-2 on the season as of today. I love the challenge of dribbling out of a press and setting my teammates up to score. I am also the top scoring player so far for the season, averaging 13 points a game and 5 assists. My outside shot is getting deeper and my drive to the basket more explosive. Enjoy my highlights and thank you for your interest! -- My name is Isabella Park and my goals are two-fold: to join an academically challenging college or university and match that with a great basketball program. I am a focused, committed student athlete. I will show up first to practice and will come in first place in suicides regardless if it is the beginning or end of practice. When you teach me a play, I will execute it immediately. I am a leader on the court, supporting my teammates, throughout practice and game situations, and am the first one to pick them up when they’re on the ground. My middle school coach who granted me MVP in both 7th and 8th grade called me his mini-coach on the court. I don’t want to be on the bench ever so I play with heart, speed and determination offensively and defensively and will chase down anyone with a ball (no easy layups when I'm on the court!). Thank you and I look forward to sharing highlights with you. -Isabella ‘21
