I started playing basketball at the age of four. From that very moment I knew that is was my future and when I continued to play, it became my dream to play college basketball. The very first time I picked up a ball, the first time I walked on the court, the first time I played in a game, I fell in love with the sport over and over again. I couldn't imagine what I would do without it. I love to play because I've been surrounded by it with my family, so I started to develop a passion for the sport.
I started playing Varsity for Olean High School when I was in 8th grade. I'm currently a sophomore and this season I got my 1,000th point about halfway through. Towards the very end of the season, I surpassed the girls All-Time Leading Scorer at Olean, which was 1,444 points. Also this season, I scored 51 points in one game which ties the record at Olean for most points scored with a man named Dennis Turner. This season I was awarded Athlete of the Week for the Buffalo News. In 8th grade and my freshman year, I received the Big 30 nomination. Freshman year I was also awarded All Western New York Second Team and am currently waiting on nominations for this season.
