Chelsea Henry '18 Recruiting Profile

This is where my tenacity meets dedication ~ Intensity! Focus! Patience! I am a hardworking student-athlete in love with the game of basketball. I am 17 years old, a Senior, the starting point guard and Captain for Greece Athena High School in Rochester, NY.  Through intense training and focus, I was selected as the starting point guard on my high school's varsity basketball team as a freshman. I was the second highest scorer and earned Honorable Mention All County during my freshman year. During the off season, I am a member of  RSBA Elite, an AAU travel basketball club. We were division champions our first year on the tournament circuit. Going into our third season, I am looking forward to competing against future college prospects, like me. 

My hard work, dedication and positive attitude help me to maintain high honor roll with a 3.6 GPA, Math and Science are my strongest subjects. In College my desire is to study Exercise Science to learn more about human performance and competitive drive. I am looking for a college that fits me and where I am able to be a contributing member to the student body. Although colleges on the East Coast, primarily New York,  are my primary choice of location, I am open to going anywhere I can earn a good education and play competitive basketball. 

I am determined to excel in college as I am in high school. I work just as hard in the gym as I do in classroom and plan to continue this work ethic as part of a college women's basketball team.
