Personal Statement
When I was eight my family moved to a new city, it felt like the end of the world for me, I had so many friends that i would miss in my old town. My family had moved next to a park and one day my dad told me to go out and play at the park and tossed me a basketball. That day I stayed at that park playing basketball till the street lights came on and my mom was yelling for me to come home. I had never really played sports till that day, not real sports with rules it had always been just for fun. I had made so many friends that day and continued to play daily till middle school where I would join the school team and later on the highschool team as well. Sports like Basketball taught me fairness, teambuilding, equality, discipline, inclusion, perseverance and respect, and gave me life long friends as well.
