Katie Mogen '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal in college is the graduate with a bachelor's degree and to play basketball on a competitive team. I'm a very versatile player because I have played as a Center, Forward, and Guard. I'm a coachable, hard working player that is very passionate about basketball. I score well, and have great vision of the floor to pass to open teammates. My junior year I scored my 1,500th career point. I like the transition and full court pressing type of game. I do well at reading the next pass and get steals. In my first 4 years of varsity basketball I have been consistently the top scorer and among the leaders of rebounds and assists. Academically I work as hard in the class room as I do on the court. I like to challenge myself by taking college level classes. I attribute much of my success to my training during the off season which includes speed and agility, camps, AAU, traveling teams, and strength and conditioning.
