My goal is to prepare myself for the life ahead of me, and to handle all the challenges that lie ahead. Growing up I have learned that hard work and dedication can get you about anything. I practice and work hard to try and achieve my goal of playing college basketball. I aspire to be the best teammate and friend I can be. Listening to other peoples opinions can also help improve your game. Being a coachable player will increase your ability, and also make the experience more enjoyable. At my high school there are many records set. I am the kind of person who likes to push myself to break records. My goal by my senior year is to make the 1000 point scoring board. It is going to be a difficult challenge but I believe I can push myself to work hard and acomplish this. Everyone knows team goals are more difficult to achieve but with hard work and determination they are possible. Our team goal and a goal that is important to me is to win our conference and become OVAC champions. Later down the road once I have finished my career I feel I would enjoy coaching a high school team of my own. Being a player, and having the skills maybe I too can help someone persue their dream of playing college basketball. School is very important to me, and I believe your education is what will get you places in life. If you want to be successful you have to be able to learn and understand. As of now my goal is to pursue a degree in either early childhood education or athletic rehabilitation. I feel these are two things that I would enjoy. Before attending collage I have set academic goals for myself. I would like to obtain a 4.0 GPA all through high school. It would be an honor to be inducted into the National Honor Society my junior year of high school. Another goal is to receive a 24 or higher on my ACT. In achieving all of these goals and challenging myself in the classroom I will be able to receive a honors diploma which is very important to me. With heart and hard work I will fulfill my dreams!
