When I first picked up a basketball at seven years old I instantly fell in love with the sport. Basketball has pushed me to have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and never give up. I understand that playing in college requires a lot of hard work and I am willing to put in the work in the classroom and on the court to be the best I can be.
As a point guard I have strong ball handling, passing, and shooting skills. I have a high basketball IQ that helps me make good decisions on the court. I am team leader and always make sure to encourage and lift up my teammates. I push myself to become a better basketball player each and every day and aim to be the hardest worker.
Not only do I work hard on the basketball court but also in the classroom. I put in a lot of effort to maintaining a high GPA and getting involved in school activities and in the community. I will continue to work and grow in the classroom and on the basketball court so I can attend a college that pushes me to reach my full potential.
