Competition has been a driving force in my life ever since I can remember, and I fell in love with basketball the first time my elementary gym teacher put a ball in my hand. I started playing in school tournament’s in 4th grade and dreamed of playing High school Basketball. When I made the Varsity team as a freshman in high school, I then dreamed and set out to play college basketball.
I am a team leader on and off of the court, and am very coachable. There is no one harder on me than me and I push myself daily to become a better player mentally, physically, and athletically.
In the classroom I strive for the highest grades possible, knowing that education is my ultimate ticket in life. I am a member of the National Honor Society, and I also have organized numerous charity benefits in my community, my favorite is our annual school basketball powder puff game which benefits childhood cancer.
I want to attend a college where I can best prepare for my future career in teaching elementary special education, as well live my dream of playing the highest level of college basketball. I hope to take that opportunity and experience to someday coach the next generation.
