Lauren Mickley '18 Recruiting Profile

I started playing basketball in seventh grade, and really started to enjoy it near the end of eighth. I decided I loved the sport, and I wanted to play in college. I have put and continue to put a lot of work into my game both in and out of season. I have spent countless hours in and out of the gym during the off season. I am the tallest one on the team so far at 5'9", so I end up guarding some of the biggest players on the court. I am working on developing an outside game this coming season, but most of my work so far has come in the post. I plan to continue to improve throughout my next two high school years both on and off the court.

I hope to excel in college while studying exercise science and pre-physical therapy or health science at a competitive academic college. My goal is to complete high school with at least a 4.0 GPA and graduate with honors, which I am on track to do right now.
