I started getting more interested in college ball during my freshman year. It just made me realize that being a three sport athlete, basketball is my favorite sport and I wanted to make it my athletic focus. I’ve pushed myself every day to work harder at improving for every game. I have been the captain for the soccer team and have received honors in soccer and softball during my Junior and Sophomore years respectively. I’m different from my female teammates because I’m always willing to learn and work to get better. I know that if I have confidence in myself, I can do anything that I set my mind to.
Being a three sport athlete, makes me understand how everyone needs to be treated no matter what their age or ability. It has also made me push myself in every sport because I want to get better and stand out as a leader by example. With me pushing myself, I encourage other players on the team to do the same so we can all get better.
