Nadja Rashid '16 Recruiting Profile

I looked forward to playing basketball at an early age and first stepped on the court when I was 8 years old. My goals and aspiration are to play collegiate basketball because I love the game and want to play at a higher level. Acceptance into college will give me the opportunity to play and get my degree in sports marketing.

 I am a good candidate for the team because I am coachable. I strive to be the best player that I can be through my hard work and dedication. I'm defensively proficient and I have a strong mid-range game. I have a great attitude on and off the court. During challenges I remain patient and calm to do my job. I work with my teammates to help them achieve success on the court.

I stay focused in order to get good grades and maintain my GPA. I volunteer in my community during the summer assisting in outside activities. I enjoy helping children learn new educational skills. I want to be a great role model for younger children. I want to find the right college match for academics and basketball. I believe my abilities will be an asset in both areas.
