Personal Statement
Going to college and majoring in some sort of medical practice has always been my goal. I enjoy being around people and making them better in any way that I can. Nursing, to me, is a great way to be around people constantly, and be able to help them at the same time. I also love being around children. My goal is to go to college and graduate with a BSN, and then to even further my education in becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner.
While going to college, another goal of mine is to play basketball. Basketball has always been an important part of my life, and I would not want to miss an opportunity to play at the next level. I've always been a competitor, whether that's with winning a simple down and back sprint in practice, or not allowing myself to get anything but an A in my classes. I hope to take my competitive drive and skills to the college level.
