Personal Statement
My love for sports and specifically basketball started at a young age. I remember always having fun and being a big part of my team's success. My passion for the game has developed me into a great leader and teammate. Through this, I have gained confidence in making the game winning shot, an impossible pass and pushing my team to do things they didn't believe were possible. I am the teammate and friend that others confide in, the jokester that makes everyone laugh, the one others look to when we need a leader on the floor. I believe my success as a basketball player all starts with self-discipline. I was raised to always do more than I was asked to do and that has instilled values that I will carry-on throughout life. My goal is to take my passion to the next level, as I am driven to outwork my competition and bring teamwork and camaraderie to any program that I join.
