I aspire to attend a division 1 NCAA college where I will major in business, all while playing basketball. As a bilingual honor roll student, I am very diligent, organized, punctual and attentive in the classroom and with assignments. As an athlete, my high basketball IQ, scoring versatility and ability to pay close attention to key details are assets to the game. I am an excellent defensive player because I move very well laterally, rebound out of the guard position and my strong defensive presence disrupts the opponents' offense. Offensively, I lead well in transition and set plays – acting as an extension of the coach – while getting my teammates involved; have the ability to shoot a mid-range jumper or the 3; have the ability to not only handle the ball under pressure, but also attack the basket, draw a defender and kick to my open teammate or do a quick pull-up. I am a very coachable student-athlete that always strives to do her very best academically and athletically.
