Personal Statement
I am a 5'9 shooting guard from Hydro, Oklahoma. I have started on the Hydro-Eakly High School varsity team since my freshman year. My sophomore year, my high school team was named Class A State Runner Up. This year, we were named State Champions. A few of my individual awards include Bertha Teague, West Central, and Class A State Tournament All-Tournament Teams as well as Washita Valley Conference MVP and Oklahoman Class A All-State.
I play competitively for the Oklahoma Swarm and was very successful last summer at tournaments throughout the country. I have a cumulative 3.97 GPA and am currently ranked 2nd in my class.
I am looking for a university where I can further my basketball career as well as challenge myself in the classroom. Theoretically, I would like to play at the college level my freshman year. I would like to join a team with a close-knit environment, with teammates who will challenge me on as well as off the court. I would like to pursue a career in communications or the medical field.
