Keanna Samuels '18 Recruiting Profile

My ambition is to earn an athletic scholarship in basketball to a school that wants me to play for them as much as I want to play for them. My desire is to play in a competitive environment and play for a coach and team that I would go to battle for and with. I enjoy playing in an up-tempo style program and would have this as an attribute on my recruiting list.

I am the youngest of 4 siblings and my parents have been and continue to be the most influential persons in my life; guiding and supporting my decisions as I pursue my dreams in academics and in sport. Our family is tightly knit and as such I have been raised with strong family values. I would hope that the team I play for has a family atmosphere because I would consider my team my extended family. 

My dream  is to attend a university where I will be able to pursue studies in a health science related field to fulfill my dream to become a Chiropractor. I know this will be hard work but my basketball journey has showed me that nothing you desire comes without working hard and I look forward to the opportunity to work to achieve this ambition.
