I have played basketball since the 3rd grade but the fire was lit attending my first NBC Camp in 4th. That is where I knew that I wanted to ultimately play at a collegiate level. When I came home from that camp I set my alarm to ball drills early every morning for the rest of the summer. Even into fall I was up at 5:30 doing ball drills with my dad before school. My first seven years of playing basketball were mostly in Native American tournaments as one of the only non Native players. This taught me a level of toughness mentally and physically that I don't think I would have learned playing anywhere else. I have grown up in a ranch setting where my parents have instilled a work ethic in me from a young age. I love the grind. Practice just doesn't get old for me as I love the game. I also put the time in for academics as you can see in my GPA. My parents have stressed the importance of good grades if someday I want to start my own business or take over our family business. I am open to all options of college play and would love to play at the highest level possible.
