Mia Libby '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since 4th grade. My love for the game has always been the thing that has stood out to my coaches and to other coaches. I have always had a passion for the game of basketball, but the feeling of being part of a team and being able to play for someone else makes it even better. Every time I step onto the court, I play it as if its my last. I enjoyed middle school sports at my small private school but decided to switch to public school to challenge myself in athletics and academics. Public school has given me more opportunities within my academics and I have worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I was honored to be chosen for 1st team all-conference my freshman year. I am a versatile player and in my first year, I played in 4 different positions, every position except center.  I was a starter for the second half of my freshman year. I also play soccer and had a starting position in 9th grade as a center mid, defensive mid, and striker. Within my two years of varsity soccer, I have received 2nd team all-conference both years. I have enjoyed playing multiple sports. I look forward to growing in my skills over the next couple years, as I prepare to compete at a college level.
