Hello, my name is Allyana Stephens and I am in the graduating class of 2022. I've attended a catholic school all my life and I attend Bishop McCort Catholic High School right now. Also, I would like to major in Marine Biology or Athletic Training. I have been playing basketball since I was 4 years old and I started playing AAU in 4th grade. I also play soccer and did track and field. In my free time I love to go to a basketball court, take a bike ride, or hangout with friends. In school I am part of the Key club and French club. My goal for for basketball is to continue to grow as a player and to become a team leader and just to play my game and have fun. I think I'd be good for a team because I believe in being a team player and always picking my teammates up. I think and have been told I am a very coach-able athlete. I know how to play all positions, but my main position is point guard and shooting guard. I am a straight A student and I work very hard, study, and always care about my grades. I am very responsible and always do things on time. I love to just have fun playing the game I love and make new friends. I want to become a great college athlete with great grades and reach my goal and have fun. I became interested in this sport because of my mother, she went to Saint Francis University on a full ride and was a big leading scorer for Bishop McCort. She has always been my role model. I have learned through this sport that I always pick myself back up after a mistake and keep my head high. I know how to fix my mistakes and I take myself accountable for my mistakes. My academic goal in high school is to get straight A’s all 4 years, and for college to just try my best and study hard. I had to overcome my ACL injury I had in the summer before my sophomore year, it was a very difficult, and long recovery but it made me stronger as a person and a stronger athlete.
