Abby JACOBY '22 Recruiting Profile

Like many, my dream is to play collegiate basketball. I have been playing basketball ever since I was in 1st grade, but it wasn't until my 6th grade year that I knew this was my sport and I wanted to play in college. I have always been the PG of my teams, but what I pride myself in is being a lockdown defender. I love to compete and I love to shut the opposing team down by playing such good defense that they can not get their offense started. I love to be challenged. I work really hard daily and I believe my skill set and hard work afford me the ability to play at the highest of levels. My biggest assets that I bring to the team is the ability to be a lock down defender, consistent scorer and a team leader. I have train 4-5 days a week on skills, strength and conditioning since I was in 6th grade. Additionally, I am a honor roll student and have maintained a 3.93 GPA all while training and competing in sports year round.
