Welcome to my profile and thank you for your interest! I’ve been playing basketball since I was in first grade and have been in love with it ever since. Over the past years I've put in many hours of hard work and tried to improve my game as much as possible. Continuing my basketball career after high school into college has been a goal of mine for a very long time. I would like to continue my career because I absolutely love the game, I can't imagine my life without it. It's been my passion for years and making it to such an elite level athletically and academically would make my many years of hard work on the court and in the classroom worthwhile.
Throughout the years I’ve been able to work with many different coaches and teammates. If you would ask any of my coaches about me they would probably tell you about my leadership skills, overall knowledge of the game, and how I always give 110% no matter what. I’ve been the captain of many of my teams and always try to motivate the girls, whether winning or losing. Coaches have also entrusted me with the responsibility of organizing the team if they had a prior engagement. Something that separates me from others is how I can see the floor, know all plays from every position, and know what offense or defense is needed in a certain situation. Additionally, my coaches have always admired that regardless of the score, I always stay focused and give my all until the final buzzer sounds. If you ask my teammates about me, I think they would tell you about my reserved personality off of the court yet dominant personality during the game. They would also tell you about how I put my team first. I also think they appreciate my ball handling skills and shot accuracy from close to the rim all the way out to a few feet behind the 3 point line. My parents have always been my biggest supporters and if you ask them about me, they will tell you about my relentless work ethic to improve myself everyday and my receptiveness to being coached.
As I start to research different schools and talk to different coaches, I am looking for the highest level of competition and would like to play for a coach who truly takes an interest in me and can see me as an asset to his or her program. I take my education very seriously and I would like to attend a school that has my desired major (not quite sure what that is yet) and can prepare me for a successful life after college. Thank you for your time! :)
