Personal Statement
My name is Tressa Fatula. I attend Blacklick Valley Jr. Sr. High School located in Nanty Glo, Pa. I will graduate in 2024. My future goals include pursuing Interior Design, while continuing my basketball career at a collegiate level.
I have played basketball all my life. Through school and AAU basketball I have learned how to work well with others. I’ve learned how much time, dedication, and sacrifice it takes to be a high level basketball player.
AAU basketball has really opened my eyes to how a real competitive basketball game is played. Playing on PA Blue Thunder for 2 years and currently playing with Sideline Cancer. I have traveled across the east coast learning the game of basketball at a high, competitive level.
Outside of basketball I strive to always do my best in my academics. I have a 3.75 gpa. My high school career I have always been in honers classes and am now in duel enrollment. I also participate in PJAS/PRSEF science fairs where I have taken home two 1st place and one 2nd place awards.
I am a very hard working player on and off the court. I keep a positive attitude toward my coaches and teammates. I strive to be better in everything I do. I am open to any constructive criticism that will help me be a better overall player.
