Alivia Huffman '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach,

My name is Alivia Huffman I am a power forward for the Redbank Valley Bulldogs.  Redbank Valley High School is located in Clarion County Pa.  I have been a 4-year starter for the basketball team and have played organized basketball since I was in 3rd grade.  I am a multi-sport athlete that plays basketball, volleyball, and track.  I have excelled in all sports that I have participated in taking district MVP the last two years in both basketball and volleyball.  I am proud of the fact that throughout my sporting seasons I have maintained a 3.4 GPA.  I have also met all of the NCAA collegiate requirements to participate in college sports.  My success in basketball over the last 4 years has ranged from district MVP, conference MVP, and all-conference.  I am roughly 160 points away from scoring my 1,000th point and I have over 400 career rebounds to date. What I am most proud of is what I feel my coaches will tell you about me.  I am a selfless player that works hard to make those around me better.  I will play any position at any time that allows success for the team.  I can play power forward and score mid-range or drive, I can play center and make power moves in the low post or I can play guard and take the ball down the court to take advantage of a mismatch.  I think my versatility is what makes me the player I am.  I have an absolute passion for this sport and cannot imagine a life without it.  I love the concept of team sports and a group of girls working toward a common goal.  I have balanced my on the court competative spirit with a very contagious positve personalitly.  My father was a college football player and has served as my coach since elementary school.  The impact he has made on me and the players of the sports he coaches is priceless.  He has taught me the importance of a strong mindset throughout the preseason and season.  I have a drive and desire to continue my basketball career at the collegiate level and hope that you find this information about me valuable to your program.  I look forward to sharing this expereince with you and cannot wait to learn more about your program.  Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.
